Dermatology is a branch of medicine that deals with the skin, hair, and nails. Dermatologists diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and vitiligo to name a few. The skin is the largest organ in the body, and it plays an important role in protecting us from the environment. It also helps to regulate our body temperature and produce vitamin D.

PSORIASIS VULGARIS

Psoriasis vulgaris is a chronic skin condition that causes the rapid buildup of skin cells. This can result in red, scaly patches of skin on different parts of the body.

LICHEN PLANUS

Lichen planus is a chronic skin condition that causes itchy, flat-topped bumps on the skin. These bumps can be found on any part of the body, but they are most common on the arms, legs, and torso.

ALOPECIA AREATA

It is an autoimmune disorder that causes hair loss. It can cause small, round patches of hair loss, limited to scalp. In severe cases may involve the entire body with loss of eyebrows and eyelid hairs too. 

FUNGAL INFECTIONS

It is caused by a type of organism called a fungus. They can occur anywhere on the body, but they are most common on the skin, nails, and scalp. Fungal infections can be itchy, red, and scaly. The most common is ringworm . However there hundreds of other fungal diseases which respond to appropriate treatment.

AUTOIMMUNE DISORDERS

These are a group of diseases in which the body’s immune system attacks healthy cells. These disorders can affect any part of the body, and they can range in severity from mild to life-threatening.

Bullous Disorders

 Bullous disorders are a group of skin conditions that cause the formation of blisters. These blisters can be caused by a variety of factors, including autoimmune disorders, infections, and medications. Bullous disorders can be painful and can cause scarring.
